We are pleased to offer a range of facial aesthetic and facial rejuvenation treatments, carried out by our Facial Aesthetics expert clinician, Dr Theodora Bravis. Our aim is to maintain and enhance your natural beauty whilst maintaining a natural look. With modern anti-ageing techniques, the effect is a subtle, fresher appearance that still looks like you.

As we age, we lose volume and this leads to deeper wrinkles, deeper skin folds and sagging of the face. This is because from around the age of about 25, the amount of collagen produced in our skin starts to decrease by 1% annually. By the time we reach our forties, collagen production reduces to the point that we don’t produce any.

At the Facial Consultation, we discuss the aims and expectations and advice as to which type of treatment or combination will work best. If treatment is agreed and commenced, the fee is deducted off the treatment plan.

Anti-Wrinkle Injectables

Keeping the face relaxed and refreshed is not a difficult task. Most people like to look more refreshed and maintain a subtle but youthful natural appearance. Relaxing facial muscles leads to smoothening of lines and the results are beautiful. At Claremont Dental Practice we work with products such as Botox (Allergan) and Bocouture (Merz). Anti-wrinkle treatment can help with lines all over the face as well as the neck.

Dermal Fillers

As we age, we lose volume and this leads to deeper wrinkles, deeper skin folds and sagging of the face. On top of this, we encounter bone resorption and reduction in the production of hyaluronic acid which in turn leads to loss of support, mainly in the midface as well as formation of the undesired ‘jowls’. Dermal fillers will replace some of the lost hydration within your skin and also replace volume under the areas of volume loss or wrinkles. In younger patients, fillers can be used for beautification and to change face proportions which will give more angled mandibles or more feminine cheek bones as an example.
