Dr Chris David Donaldson is a fully certified, Consultant trained, Specialist Orthodontist and Medical Doctor working in London and the South East of England.
Chris trained in Orthodontics at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital & Kingston Hospital in London. During his training he was awarded with an MSc from King’s College London and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Dr Donaldson then completed higher specialist training in managing more complex orthodontics and was awarded the Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Dr Donaldson has been working as a Consultant in the NHS at a London Hospital since 2021, where he leads, trains and assesses a team of trainee orthodontists. His sub-specialist interests in the Hospital are in dento-facial orthopaedics and the digital virtual surgical planning of jaw surgery.
Dr Donaldson is a member of the European Orthodontic Society and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Chris’ work has been presented at national and international conferences and published in medical and orthodontic research journals; he is also the author of a chapter in a popular orthodontic textbook. Chris also reviews submissions to the Journal of Orthodontics and is an MSc Research Project Supervisor.
Chris’ clinical focus is on the use of orthodontics & dento-facial orthopaedics to enhance aesthetics and oral health outcomes through the delivery of precise and efficient care in a comfortable, relaxed environment.
