I have been seeing Lanre Onabolu for around two years now. During this time I have undergone some procedures which could have been very unpleasant were it not for his attention to patient care. At all times I was aware of exactly what was happening and why, with excellent pain relief and some very agreeable music to distract me during some lengthy procedures. Having been with the Claremont Dental Practice for 27 years, looked after by the same dentist Dr R J Telfer for all that I was surprised to learn that he was giving up dentistry. As for the last 17 years I have travelled to the surgery from out of the area, having moved house, I continued with Claremont principally because of Rob has he was an excellent dentist. So his decision to pack up dentistry decided me that the time was ripe for me to mov e on, so I have left the practice. I must not forget the similarly excellent hygienist Miss Esti Mayans who has looked after my dental hygiene for many years and is still at the practice. So all in all my experience with the Claremont has been nothing but positive. All that I had against it was the distance I had to travel. If I were still living in the area it is highly like I would have continued with the Claremont even with the departure of Rob Telfer.

I had been putting off having a Gingival Graft for about 3 years because I was so terrified of the treatment, and I wasn’t completely sure if it would actually work. I plucked up courage in May of this year to have it done, after several consultations with Lanre. I have to say, it’s the best thing I’ve done, and I wish I’d done it sooner! Lanre and his assistant were completely brilliant, so skilled and reassuring. The procedure itself was not as dreadful as I had anticipated and the recovery period was relatively quick and pretty much free from too much discomfort. My gum has been strengthened, and the treatment was a success. I could not recommend the treatment or Lanre more highly.

I have had a great experience with this practise and my dentist here. I have been a patient for many years and I have just completed a further treatment with my last check up, which really deserves some positive feedback. I have always been treated with care and respect by all staff at Claremont Dental Practise and have had things explained thoroughly and with patience. I am a very nervous patient and knowing details of things to happen are of importance to me. My dentist is always attentive and takes their time with me, in order to make sure I stay calm and leave satisfied. The reception staff are always polite and keep me informed of waiting times. The cost of my most recent treatment was outlined to me from the beginning and unexpected costs potentially anticipated due to the complexity of my case were also calculated in advance and with accuracy. The result was unexpectedly good and the surgical intervention I had was surprisingly painless. As a result, I enjoyed my Christmas holidays with my family and managed to enjoy my wife’s cooking too. I know that i am and remain in good hands with my dental care here and that is the reason why I have been with them for such a long time and will continue to do so.

I have lived in this area for my whole life and having now been a patient at this practice for many years, I can honestly say they are the best dental practice around.
The staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming and do their utmost to calm any nerves and make you feel at ease during your appointment, right from the receptionist to the dental staff themselves.

My two young sons are also patients here and my youngest in particular actually really looks forward to coming to the dentists, which for a three year old is no mean feat! It just shows what a truly lovely, warm, professional family practice this is and I for one as a previously extremely nervous patient could not speak more highly of them.

The practice makes me feel confident due to the professional attitude throughout the practice – I am aware the very latest equipment and knowledge are used and whilst one is always a little nervous, you are aware you are in skilled hands – the hygienist is very caring + helpful giving sound advice.
